One of my favorite things to use while crafting is cardboard.
It's something that just about everyone has and can get their hands on fairly easily.
I had this idea of printing off an eagle but wasn't sure what I was going to do with it. And then cardboard popped in my head! So I went outside and took an old box which I had received napkins in (😀), and cut off a piece of and then added a coat of white chalk paint.
The eagle that I printed was a little bit tricky to cut out but nothing too hard. I cut around all the feathers and then I added mod podge to it and adhered it to a napkin before cutting it out.
I added painters tape to the cardboard to section it off and painted the red stripes.
I used a Napkin from Bottlecreeknapkins to cut the stars out and then mod podged it to the upper corner.
I also use my black ink pad to distress the look of the flag, and I also used stamps to print the word "freedom".
This is a nice decoration to add to my memorial day, July 4 and Labor Day decorations.
I hope you love it too!
Keep shining,
Becky
