With the Memorial Day and July 4th holidays coming up, I wanted to make a Patriotic craft... and I think I nailed it!
As you may know, I sell this particular rice paper and I knew this is what I wanted to use.
I then had this great thought, (yep, at least I think it was).. of placing a silhouette of a soldier on top of the rice paper in order to honor our fallen heroes.
In order to do that, I went online and found a free clip art picture that was just what I was looking for.
- Paint Stirrers
- White Chalk Paint
- Mod Podge
- Rice Paper
- Parchment Paper
- Water Brush
- Silhouette of Hero
- Jute Rope
UPDATE: once I got off the live, I took some Waverly Truffle Chalk Paint and a baby wipe and brushed it onto the edges to give it a more distressed look.
You can watch the replay of my live ⬇️⬇️ below to see the steps I took to make this amazing patriotic sign.
Please leave me a comment and let me know what you think!
