I know you are used to me posting about my napkin art crafts. (Which is my favorite type of crafting)...But today I wanted to post about this little table.
This little table was given to me a few years ago by my mother-in-law. It's been sitting in our home just waiting for me to give it a make over!
Today was the day! It was a beautiful sunshiny Easter Day and this table was calling my name!
I had purchased this stencil from Walmart last week knowing it was exactly what I was looking for to put on the top of the table!
I had also purchased these 2 beautiful metal plates a few weeks ago from Hobby Lobby knowing I wanted to use them as embellishments. My original idea was to add them to the legs but decided I liked the way they looked on the top and middle bar!
This was really an easy project and believe me, if I can make something this goober cute, so can you!!!
STEPS TO CREATE:
- Stain table
- Adhere stencil to table top with painters tape
- Use stencil brush to apply chalk paint
- Paint table legs with chalk paint in a choppy manner to get chippy/worn look
- Seal with polyacrylic
- Add metal pulls
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
- Table
- Stain
- Stencil
- Painters Tape
- Chalk Paint
- Stencil Brush
- Polyacrylic
- Embellishments
I hope you enjoy seeing the pics of my finished product! It's just sitting in our home to completely dry before finding its place in our living room!
Would love for you to leave a comment below!
Keep shining,
Becky

Thank you!!! It came out too cute!
I did not realize chalk paint would stick to stain???? Did you seal it first???
I did not seal it first. I just put the stain on top of the wood, let it dry, and then use chalk paint on the stencil. I didn’t sealed the entire table with poly acrylic.
Beautiful !!!!
Thanks so much!!!
