Have you ever had an idea in your head and then you start to craft, but it doesn't really come out the way that it was in your head? It happens to me all the time :-) sometimes it comes out better sometimes maybe not quite as good.
Today was one of those days that I had this really cute idea in my head, but as I was doing it on a live, I really did not like the way it was coming out.
So after my live, I kept messing around, stripped some paint, added some paint, added some glitter & polkadots, and then a couple of glass knobs at the bottom.
I really did not like the crown that I had made so I completely did a makeover on that one as well.
The pictures attached to my blog is what I did to it after my live. (Watch the replay to see the bones of the project)!
I am now pleased with how it looks. A little abstract, a little farmhouse, and a little glamour! It will now hang in one of my napkin rooms!
SUPPLIES I USED:
- old wooden picture
- glue to do crackle
- white chalk paint
- Doxie folder pic
- hot glue
- e7000
- black chalkboard paint
- foam board
- embellishments
- glass knobs
You can watch my replay here to get the jest of what I did, but again, once I finished doing the live, I kept messing around until I got to where I wanted it.
